This harpguitar owned by Scott Z unfortunately has no markings leading us to its maker. I think it was built somewhere around the 1920's and is a wonderful instrument . It is relatively small as harpguitars go and quite nice to play. The original bridge had cracked and it was by no means repairable. I reproduced a new bridge and managed to save the original inlays. Also I had to make a replica tuner key as one of the bass tuners was missing.

Scott wanted to be able to take this instrument out and perform so I fashioned the bridge with two bone saddles tempering the guitar saddle for proper intonation and installed two Fishman Matrix pickups. This allows him to operate the guitar and bass thru separate amps and effects and it really worked out great. Don't you just love the headstocks on this guitar? Another vintage guitar saved from the dregs of being a wall hanging somewhere.
