The owner of this '51 Telecaster realized if he ever wanted to really play this guitar, it would have to be refretted. This was a tough decision for him. Word had it that not a single screw had ever been turned. Not even the 4 screws holding the neck on. This job required considerable time and skill to assure the original attributes of the instruments were left undisturbed.

As you can see, the refretting was accomplished with the neck and tuning keys still attached.Instead of a vintage wall decoration, this vintage '51 Tele can be seen as well as heard.
